Severna Park Runs Away With 4A Boys Title; Urbana Girls Load Up In Field By Doug Binder, DyeStat Editor Jack DeBaugh won a 400-800 double and Tyler Canaday and James Glebocki went 1-2 in the 1,600 meters and all three of them contributed to a win in the 4x800 as Severna Park won the Class 4A title at the MPSAA Track and Field Championships in Landover, Md. DeBaugh ran 48.66 to win the 400 and 1:55.94 to take the 800. Canaday ran 4:15.86 and Glebocki was right behind him in 4:17.78. Kamel Winfield Jr ran 10.42w to win the 4A boys 100 meters final and was part of two winning relays -- 42.20 in the 4x100 and 1:28.47 in the 4x200 -- for Old Mill Senior. Luke Coffin of Annapolis won the boys 3,200 meters in 9:14.06. Urbana had 10 scorers in the field events, including one of the six girls who tied for eighth in the high jump, on the way to the 4A team championship. Manie Mevo of Quince Orchard won the 4A girls long jump (18-7.25) and triple jump (40-4.75). Judson Lincoln IV helped Oakland Mills score an overwhelming 168 points to win the 2A championship. Lincoln won the 100 meters in 10.46 seconds, the 200 in 20.90 and the 400 in 47.42. He also ran on the winning 4x200 relay. Teammate Kanye Holland won the long jump 21-9.25 and placed second in the triple jump (46-9.50).
